Below FAQ are some common concerns of our clients before booking with us
Common Questions
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We currently offer cherry financing.
Do I need PMU experience to take a course?
You don’t! You do not need an esthetician or cosmetology license to take our courses. Our academy was designed for new and experienced artists who want to learn a new technique or simply sharpen their skills.
Does the procedure hurt?
We always advise our clients that pain is minimal. We use a secondary topical anesthetic that is applied (after the skin is broken) & re applied throughout the procedure. Pain is tolerable and is very minimal.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
We ask that you not consume alcohol, energy drinks, pre workout, or anything that contains caffeine at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This can cause bleeding and blood pushes pigment out which will result in poor pigment retention. Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen 2 days prior to your appointment.
Can I get a touchup if I’ve gotten my brows done by a different artist?
Unfortunately not :( This would be considered a coverup service which needs to be booked accordingly. Each artist has their own style, technique, brow shaping, and select pigment . All coverups need to be approved prior to booking a date. We will provide you the steps as to how you will send your coverup photos for pre approval.
Do you guarantee permanent makeup?
Everyone accepts pigment differently. We cannot guarantee the way someone’s skin will take pigment. Many things may factor the way you heal such as lifestyle, aftercare, skin sensitivity, skin type, etc. Please be mindful that results will vary.
Is this like a permanent tattoo?
This procedure is considered permanent however it does gradually fade with time. Pigment is implanted into the upper dermal layer of the skin and can last you anywhere from 2-3 years. We are definitely more superficial than an actual tattoo procedure.
